The angel sculpture and the bicycle were very eye catching and powerful pieces. 

 

Chairs

Drawing lots of chairs in observational drawing today. It was very challenging like solving a puzzle. I finished the drawing with hilghting the outline with ink.

Secret Door

This old door is the entrance to my grandparents house. It reminds me of The Secret Garden door. However it is the door for the site of Peel hospital that served the borders 1939-1988 as well as the nurses training school 1939-1969. It is the only runins left from the hospital.

Fire the flicker of a flame.

I love the flicker of a flame as it turns different colours for red to blue then yellow. I always think there is something mesmerising about a flame no matter how big or small. There is something in a flame that makes you want to look deep into the soul of the  fire with in. 

Scarecrow

Have fun this Autumn making a scarecrow. It's made out of recyclable materials great for kids to get involved. 

 

Red Arrows GNR

I was at was at the Great North Run at the weekend and seen the amazing Red Arrows brilliant display as always. 

Captured the distinctive red, white and blue colour in the sky.

At my grandads I seen this cooking apple it was very intresting because it was split but still healthy so i decided to take this photograph.
